How I lost 91 pounds and successfully kept them off

Losing weight can be achieved  without exercise and without being hungry: you can do it too

It is critical to know what truly motivates you to lose the weight. Keeping in your mind a concrete reason will have a tremendous impact as you proceed with your weight loss efforts.

Staying motivated

Motivate yourself daily. Focus on the reasons why you must lose weight every day. Is it health, or is it fear? Some people, me included, require fear. When you are convinced that losing weight is more important than what you are giving up, then you are ready for action and you will likely succeed.

Take advantage of the motivation you're feeling now and start now.

There is no better motivation than reaching your goals and seeing the results of your hard work. You will also feel successful and in control.

Feel good about the steps you're taking to improve your health.

Competing against yourself is a great way to get results.

Think positive. You can do this!

Be proud of any change you make for a better, no matter how small it may seem.

People who are trying to to lose weight are more likely to succeed when they tell other what they're doing.

Creating a solid support network can help you stay on track. Knowing that people like you are cheering you - and holding you accountable will help.

Peer support motivates and inspires you, keeps you accountable, and provides insight from those who have been there, done that.

Be proud of any change you make for a better, no matter how small it may seem.

Take advantage of the motivation you're feeling now and start now.

At one time my weight was 261 pounds.

So I decided to do something about it.

I needed to create a program that would be effective and produce quick but lasting results.

After I got my wake-up call I aggressively went after losing some extra pounds.

I used the latest knowledge on nutrition, foods and what my body needed for successful weight loss and good health.

I discovered a way of eating deigned to take off weight quickly.

My method provided rapid weight loss at the start, so that I had the incentive to keep going.

My relation to food changed and I stared eating healthier.

I ate only salads with skinless chicken breast, fish or lean turkey for my meals and started losing weight fast.

I quickly lost 46 pounds in 2010 and managed to maintain my new weight for a year.

May 20, 2011 was a year since I changed my eating habits. I am maintaining it.

It has been two years now. My weight is 170 pounds.

Total loss: 91 pounds. Life is beautiful.
